A song of life and circumstances.
Everything you earn on earth you can’t take with you when you die…Therefore get what you can while you can ‘for your pleasure’ because you don’t get a reset button when its all over. All the mistakes you’ve made and your shortcomings which you blame on yourself or others ( i.e. guys throwing away their lives and potential for a woman— which is beautiful in movies but full of regret and angry wall punching in real life) is not their fault. These obstacles (sorry women, even though it can be taken vice-versa) are given to all man kind. Therefore its up to you to pay attention and escape that fate or to not care and possibly regret it later, I know to a certain extent I do. Here’s where people seperate like ripples on a blank shore. You’re here, there are obstacles now fight and react for life bc you only have one and those obstacles which are set in stone sends us on different wave patterns to different parts of the earth and world. Whatever the interpretation, the percussion and melody of this song moved me. Seeing the lyrics has enlightened me as well.
